About Melody Baha

Melody is an American actress, director, producer, and writer of Iranian (Persian) heritage, known for bringing powerful, authentic stories to life. Her work ranges from appearances on The Dr. Oz Show to acclaimed off-off Broadway productions like The Most Massive Woman Wins, performances at the Escondido Center for Performing Arts, Aladdin, and IATI Theater’s An Interview for Nazanin. Melody’s voice extends far beyond the screen, bringing to life best-selling graphic memoirs like Raina Telgemeier’s Smile and Sisters, as well as R. J. Palacio’s Wonder series.

Committed to elevating underrepresented voices, she founded Melodically Productions, a platform dedicated to empowering independent filmmakers. With unwavering dedication and a fearless creative spirit,

Melody stepped into the director’s chair with her  Sci-Fi "Dramedy" media series, Wo(men) Go to Jupiter. More than a director, she served as creator, writer, producer, and lead actress—demonstrating her remarkable versatility and visionary approach to storytelling.
